Nick Cannon is in full swing promoting his upcoming album, White People Party Music and he’s not sparing anyone’s feelings.
The Wild ‘N Out comedian took to the world’s most popular photo site to reveal his latest alter-ego, Connor Smallnut.
“It’s official… I’m White!!! #WHITEPEOPLEPARTYMUSIC #Wppm in stores April 1st!!!!!!Dude Go Get It!!!Join The Party!!!! #GoodCredit #DogKissing #BeerPong #FarmersMarkets #FistPumping #CreamCheeseEating #RacialDraft “Bro I got drafted!!”,” Cannon exclaimed to his more than 640K Instagram followers. There were a few LOL’s and compliments but then, white Twitter came out in full force, disapproving of the look.
Even guys named Conor were taking offense. Needles to say, Cannon’s mentions on Twitter were slandered full of Caucasians demanding to get the 40 acres and mule that they never actually bestowed on the Black community returned to them.
Nick then attempted to liken his character to the one portrayed by Robert Downey, Jr. in the 2008 movie Tropic Thunder to no avail. One poster even asked to don blackface while drinking grape juice and eating chicken and watermelon.
Cannon’s intentions were definitely tongue-in-cheek but peep the gallery for the legion of offended white people who thought otherwise.
