Before the white on white Nike Air Foamposite One released last year, Penny Hardaway wore another white pair with accents that closely mirrored the Orlando Magic team colorway during NBA All-Star Weekend 2012. Thought to be an exclusive “Player Edition,” the sneaker actually releases this year in the upcoming “Shooting Stars” pack.
The shoe’s mostly white upper dons black trimming around the lace area featuring embossed stars. Royal blue laces and an icy sole add an extra flair to the kicks. But that’s not all, because the Nike Air Foamposite One is accompanied by Nike Lil Penny Posite, which are inspired by the Hardaway-inspired figurine that Chris Rock famously voiced in 90’s Nike commercials.
The “Shooting Stars” pack is slated to release some time in May, though no particular date has been announced. See images on the following pages
