Up-and-coming rapper Dave East, who hails from the gritty streets of East Harlem, is steadily amassing co-signs from the likes of Wyclef Jean, DJ Khaled and Shaheem Reid. This to an already solid fan-base made up of record executives, professional athletes and fellow colleagues.
Dave East’s newly released introductory tape Black Rose, is the culmination of months and months of hard work, and has already attracted the eyes and ears of music insiders. Harlem World’s own holds down the 15-track EP solo. Only in the latter part of the project does he swoop up a feature verse from Smoke DZA.
