The impact that Onyx had on Rap music in the 90’s can’t be denied. They stopped by The Breakfast Club for a very intense morning show appearance.
Fredro Starr and Sticky stayed true to their signature all black motif with a take no shorts attitude to match. Of course this approach doesn’t always gel with everyone and that was the result today.
When Charlamagne Tha God asked Fredro about a certain R&B songstress things went left and some on air craziness ensued. DJ Envy and Angela Yee tried to keep the peace but it was too late that at that point.

1. Rap Battle
Did you know Fredro Starr is battling Keith Murray this year?
2. Brandy
Even though Fredro said on camera that Brandy gave him special favors, he is very sensitive about the topic and even flipped out on Charlamagne about it.
3. The Drop
Naturally Fredro brought up the time Charlamagne got punched in the head outside of the radio station.
4. Knock Outs
Sticky says he was drunk and high when he caught the fade on MTV many years back.
5. Street Justice
Even though the MTV footage looked bad he says that he has never been knocked out. He also referred to this TMZ footage that was a real life altercation.
6. Jam Master Jay
The group actually met Jay in a traffic jam coming back from Jones Beach. They got in his van and talked for two hours. Two years later they got offered a recording contract.
7. The Legacy
Onyx has been in the game for over 20 years and still make a great living from touring their first album alone.
8. 50
Apparently 50 took a swing at Fredro Starr but missed. Fredro said 50 ran just like Charlamagne did.
9. Throw Ya Gunz
Onyx really was busting those guns in the 90’s. Did you know Sticky shot a gun in the air during a Source Awards performance?
