Jordin Sparks’ September 2014 split with R&B singer Jason Derulo was so prevalent, that it overshadowed much of what she was trying to accomplish in terms of musical input.
Well, it appears that after giving Instagram followers plenty of clues, she bounced back with Sage The Gemini. According to E!, it’s going down for real.
“Sage the Gemini and Jordin have been hanging out for months now and it has been a fun, flirty friendship in the beginning but in the past recent months, the romance has kicked in,” a mysterious source shared with E! News exclusively. “They are a couple this is for sure and this is not a rebound for her at all.”
The Bay Area rapper has been enjoying the success brought forth from his “G.D.F.R.” collaboration with Flo Rida and he recently told Hip-Hop Wired that he felt 2015 was the first year he actually felt good about. Possibly because he’s getting American Idol auditions on his mic every night.
“She trusts him as a friend so it’s really easy to talk and open up about life,” the insider continued. “They love hanging out, working out, sharing ideas about work and just relaxing with each other. They are taking things slow and not in any rush. She learned a lot from her past relationship and really has grown as a person.”
As for Derulo, he’s been telling the press that he’s “single and ready to mingle,” but nobody really cares.
