Pharrell’s current run has us wondering if his season ever truly ended. He made news earlier this week with his forthcoming sophomore LP, G I R L, and he closed just as strong by unveiling the tracklist on the same his Billboard magazine cover was publicized.
The cover story focuses on the Neptune producer’s Oscar nomination for his work on the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, more particularly “Happy.” Skateboard P sports his now infamous Vivienne Westwood “Mountain” hat, which is currently up for auction on eBay, in the image. The proceeds will go to charity.
Other the other hand, it’s looking less likely that Pharrell’s upcoming album will feature any rapping. There will be 11 tracks in total on the project and guest features from Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Miley Cyrus, and Alicia Keys. Now, if that isn’t the recipe for a win, we don’t know what is.
