We’re still a few weeks away from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 release date of May 2 but the film’s cast couldn’t contain their excitement as they hit Paris for the world premiere.
The new web-slinging finds Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) facing his biggest challenges yet as he squares off in the New York City streets against Max “Electro” Dillon played by Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx. MTV spoke with the two stars and both indiscreetly hinted that Amazing Spider-Man 2 will feature the Sinister Six in some form or fashion.
For the uninitiated, that is a group of super villains consisting of Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Sandman and Foxx’s Electro. Columbia Pictures also pulled out all the stops for the soundtrack which features the likes of Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell Williams.
Emma Stone, who returns as Gwen Stacy, also was amongst the adoring public signing autographs and posing for cameras.
Check out all the flicks in the gallery. It most likely will be the year’s biggest blockbuster.
