As Ray Rice patiently waits for his chance to shine on Sundays again, the media is shining new light on his infamous elevator fight that left his wife, Janay knocked out cold for several minutes.
ABC News exclusively obtained never-before-seen footage from the N.J. Gaming Enforcement Division that explicitly shows the events that transpired after the punch seen around the world. The reported 45 minutes of surveillance from the new Ray Rice video has been chopped down to only the important details, including the couple’s teary reconciliation in the very same elevator they had previously brawled in.
The March 27th incident culminated with an unconscious Janay being dragged from the elevator and the afterwards, ABC’s tape shows both were arrested and whisked away in the separate police cars.
After enduring a longstanding public roasting, the Rice’s kept their heads to sky, resulting in Ray being reinstated and eligible for resigning on December 1. While it is unlikely that he appear in the 2014, next year is almost inevitable to see him on a roster given his Super Bowl experience and relatively good health.
