It was all fun and games when The-Dream said it, but Kentucky Wildcats star Andrew Harrison is currently an unpopular fellow for his choice of words in the wake of his team’s embarrassing Final Four loss to the Wisconsin Badgers.
During the press conference following the 71-64 whooping, a reporter asked Karl-Anthony Towns what made AP Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky so difficult to contain. As Towns gathered his emotions to respond to the humbling question, Harrison’s mumblings of “f**k that n****a” was picked up by his microphone and there goes the story.
After the wayward commentary went viral, Harrison took to his Twitter account to apologize for his statements. The supporting fans weren’t any better. Thirty-one people were arrested for destroying State St. following the Big L.
