Jesus Piece

The Game was in a collaborative space while creating his Jesus Piece album. We’re reminded of this by a throwaway track that recently surfaced called “Last Supper.”

Well, this is a surprise. It took eons to happen, but The Game finally debuts the visual for “All That (Lady)” from his 2012 album Jesus Piece.

The Game returns with a long awaited visual for his Jesus Piece track “Ali Bomaye.” Like much of his fifth studio LP, the West Coast native receives some help from a few brothers in rhyme on this one.

While The Game is planning to release “All That (My Lady)” as his latest single from his album Jesus Piece, he is also shooting a video for “Ali Bomaye.”

The fascinating story about the shooter that killed Osama bin Laden in this month’s Esquire magazine featured an interesting rap tidbit.

The Game is a realist. In a recent interview, the Compton rapper was candid about the existence of Detox, saying not to get your hopes up for it’s release while also comparing the increasingly mythical album to Jesus Christ.

It took him about 24 hours but Game officially flipped out over allegations that he was once a stripper. As Hip-Hop Wired reported yesterday, the Compton native’s  stepfather appears in a new documentary where he details Game’s days as a stripper.

In news that should surprise absolutely nobody, Game says he has no dream collaborations.

The sales projections are in for T.I.’s Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head release, and the Atlanta native is expected to do around 175,000. According to Hits Daily Double, Tip will come in between 150,000-175,000, while the week’s other rap release, Chief Keef’s Finally Rich, will sell 50,000-55,000 copies over the next several days.

The Game’s fifth studio album, Jesus Piece, took the No. 6 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 album charts, selling 86,000 copies in a week. The Compton rapper was defeated by Taylor Swift who maintained her No. 1 spot with her Red album moving an additional 208,000 copies. The release went double platinum in a month.

The Game and Fox News personality Michelle Malkin are not friends. Malkin, a staunch conservative, has gotten into verbal matches with tons of people but it was her critique of Game’s Jesus Piece album that set him off. Malkin runs the site Twitchy.com which posted a story about the release.

We’re going to approach this one slowly. West Coast veteran The Game has a penchant for the outlandish that’s just as proficient as his ability to make really solid music.  For his feature-heavy fifth album, Jesus Piece, Game took the title of the record to new heights after bringing out a white man depicting Jesus […]
