The Game‘s new album, Jesus Piece, caused some obvious controversy upon its release.
If you didn’t know by now, be clear that Shyne doesn’t care what you think..about anything that he does. Whether you’re President Obama, Game, Kendrick, Lamar, or anyone taking issue with his random, but honest, commentary, Shyne’s stance will not be shaken. So, rather than get upset over a potential beef with Game for coming to […]
It doesn’t take much to get the Game to comment on, or participate, in a rift or beef. Taking offense to Shyne’s infamous commentary on Kendrick Lamar’s new album, Jayceon Taylor drops a “Cough up a Lung (New York Freestyle)” video, with bars aimed at the former Bad Boy rapper and for that other rapper who […]
West Coast rhyme slinger the Game fifth and potentially final studio album, Jesus Piece, is his last under contract to Jimmy Iovine’s Interscope Records. It appears the Compton wordsmith may take his talents to South Florida. While the “Celebration” rapper was a former high school basketball player, he’s not pulling a LeBron James “decision” move, though.
Compton rapper, and pending reality TV star, The Game visited Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club and spoke on a variety of topics including infidelity, 40 Glocc’s lawsuit and delivering fades at a Lil Wayne birthday party.
The Game brings us the second installment of his #SundayService series with the aptly titled “Holy Water.” Don’t expect any religious epiphanies on this track, though. The Game instead spits about a world filled with sinful vices and the luxuries that come with them.

Religion has played a part in Hip-Hop since its halcyon days, but that doesn’t mean the relationship between rap music and God-fearing folk has always been on the up and up. Sure secular rap artists have released a number of semi-church friendly tracks like Kanye West’s “Jesus Walks,” Common’s “Faithful” and MC Hammer’s “Pray,” but more […]
Is Compton rapper the Game’s album cover for his upcoming Jesus Piece project blasphemous? That’s certainly what plenty of people will be asking when they take a look at its artwork (see below).
Jayceon “The Game” Taylor has been sounding more and more mature lately as he’s gotten older. Not only is he getting married (albeit, televising it for an upcoming VH-1 reality show called Married To The Game), but The Game is also gearing up to release a brand new album called Jesus Piece which is inspired by his new […]
If you had to pick one word to describe Compton rapper Game, “unpredictable” is as good as any. Case in point, the MC born Jayceon Taylor has decided to change the title of his forthcoming album from F.I.V.E: Fear Is Victory’s Evolution to Jesus Piece. The “Hate Or Love It” rapper explained his change of […]
