Who doesn’t appreciate Thanksgiving? This is the time where family and friends come together to show gratitude for their blessings over epic food; what’s not to like? Whether they indulge in the turkey and pumpkin pie or not, some rappers have chosen be less than gracious with the grand opportunities afforded to them.

With Kanye West’s recent and prolific Yeezus rant tour, the once heralded musical genius was reduced to a whiny and complaining shadow of his former self. But the acts of thankless behavior in Rap go deeper than that.

We’ve seen the story play out numerous times. Said rapper pairs up with one of his peers and a recording contract is signed. They ride hard for their team initially but for whatever the reason the love turns into hate. Regardless of the final outcome between the two parties, it’s always shocking to see how some quickly they forget their come up. So in honor of this bountiful holiday, we present the top 10 most ungrateful rappers in the game in the following pages.

Feel free to chime in on which incident you found the most upsetting below.

Chingy

Chingy was scooped by Ludacris for his DTP record label. He went on to enjoy one hell of a rookie year with his smash hits “Right Thurr” and “Holiday Inn.” Leading up to his sophomore album, Ching A Ling started throwing DTP under the bus for their allegedly unfair business practices. Years later it was revealed Chingy had a shady lawyer that was misinforming him.

J-Hood

Remember J-Hood? He ran with The Lox but his debut album never saw the light of day. After years of frustration Hood left the Yonkers trio. When he peaced out he started slandering his former rhyming partners and even dragged his D-Block chain on the floor. Funny thing was that it was later revealed Hood purchased that chain himself and the diamonds were fake. #irony.

Remy Ma

After Big Pun’s untimely passing, Fat Joe took the responsibility of grooming Terror Squad femcee Remy Ma. The week of release for her debut album There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story, Reminisce started questioning the Terror Squad don’s business acumen. Years later she would allegedly shoot her friend in the stomach and land herself an eight year bid.

Beanie Sigel:

Not only would he be awarded a top spot at Roc-A-Fella Records, but Beans had his own State Property clothing line, cartoons, film roles and more. A dispute with his mentor Jay Z arose and Sigel declared all out war on Hov.

Gucci Mane

Gucci absolutely gave no f—‘s about anyone else but him this year with an epic Twitter tirade that is hall of fame worthy.

Azealia Banks

The young rapstress has proven to have very little chill when it comes to other people’s feelings. Recently she threw Pharrell under the bus for what she perceives was a lack of support from the super producer. Considering Williams had his hand in so many of the biggest hits from 2013, it’s hard for anyone to point their finger at him.

Max B

Fresh out of a jail Max B was introduced to the world by Jim Jones. Max caught a serious charge and started talking sideways when Jim took a minute with the bail money. This soon turned ugly and the two still don’t speak to this day.

Consequence

Consequence went on a slander filled campaign targeting his former rhyming partner Kanye West. Things got so ugly Cons started dropping dimes about Yeezy’s personal matters, ghost writing and more. He has since stated he will no longer diss G.O.O.D. Music but this was a total Fredo move if you ask us.

Dylan

So your talent is in question but you win a contest to be signed to Bad Boy Records and work with one of the most successful record producers of our time. Things don’t go as you planned and you quit but expect us to take your side? Oh.

Chief Keef

Sosa had a promising career off the the strength of “Don’t Like.” However, poor habits that keep him in a prison cell & baby mama drama mean this dude stays taking his blessings for granted.

Kanye West

Listen the plethora of new Yeezy interviews (The Breakfast Club or Sway In The Morning, to start) and tell us this guy doesn’t sound spoiled.
