Even with sound confirmations of an Outkast reunion brewing, nothing felt quite like the official news. This week, the world discovered that the ATLiens are headlining Coachella 2014.
Needless to say that folks absolutely lost it, as it seemed like the consensus of Hip-Hop fans jumped for joy at the thought of seeing Big Boi and André 3000 reunited on stage. The fanboy love came from more than the general public. It also included the funky duo’s peers, many of whom expressed their excitement as well.
Hip-Hop Wired listed some of our favorite tweets in a gallery on the following pages. And these are the reactions that preceded the follow-up announcement that revealed Outkast are also headlining Governor’s Ball in New York City. Looks like 2014 is already shaping up to be a good year.
