The annual Paid Dues Festival has been cancelled. The unfortunate news was delivered in a statement via its founder, Los Angeles rapper Murs.
It seems like money was just too tight for the musical festival to proceed. “2013 was financially challenging for my partners at Guerilla Union and as a direct result of these unfortunate circumstances we were not able to come together to give you another successful Paid Dues Festival,” read part of the statement.
However, Murs intends to regroup and have Paid Dues return in 2015.
Many saw this coming considering last year a number of Rock The Bells concerts, including New York and Washington, were cancelled by Guerilla Union due to poor ticket sales.
