When Donald Trump attacked Civil Rights legend Rep. John Lewis, by calling him “all talk” and “sad,” after he questioned the Comrade’s Presidential win, he once again demonstrated just how little he understood the meaning of sacrifice.
While no one in his or her right mind tried to defend his words, Rob “Cultural-Chameleon” Schneider tried to appeal to Lewis’ forgiving side by reminding him that Martin Luther King was all love and not hate, tweeting: “Rep. Lewis. You are a great person. But Dr. King didn’t give in to his anger or his hurt. That is how he accomplished & won Civil Rights.”
While Adam Sandler’s plus 1 didn’t necessarily come out and say he was pro-Trump, his actions seemed to insinuate that Mr. Lewis, who marched alongside Dr. King in Selma, was somehow in the wrong with his statement that “Ivan” Trump’s electoral win was “illegitimate” due to Russia’s interference on Trump’s behalf.
The irony of a man who’s made a living mocking every culture and race under the sun lecturing a Civil Rights hero was not lost on the people. So social media proceeded to properly drag Schneider for his ill-advised advice for John Robert Lewis.
Hit the flip to peep some of the more scathing responses to Rob’s two cents.
