Even though he might disappear from time to time it seems Earl Sweatshirt is prepping a new project. He has released a new single and his core fans shouldn’t be disappointed.

Over the course of two hours, Earl Sweatshirt and producer Knxwledge (Kendrick Lamar “Momma,” SiR “In the Sky”) spun a myriad of deep cuts on their monthly RBMA Radio show, Stay Inside. Saving the best for last, the Los Angeles rapper used the platform to premiere an unreleased record titled “Death Whistles,” produced by King Krule.

Here it is, the moment rap fans (read: yours truly) have been waiting for. Earl Sweatshirt and producer Knxwledge connect on a new track called “Balance.”

The best way to tell fans “sorry for the wait” is by delivering quality product. In comes Telefone, the long-awaited mixtape from NoName, one of Chicago’s most promising artists.

For almost 10 years the XXL Freshman cover has been one of the most debated lists in Hip-Hop. Of course, every year someone gets “left off” and opinions go flying.

Earl Sweatshirt has beef with Drake?

The new Earl Sweatshirt album is finally here. The long-form title is I Don’t Like Sh*t, I Don’t Go Outside: An Album By Earl Sweatshirt, and it’s a 30-minute listen.

After the grand fiasco (or crafty marketing plan) that was Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly release, yet another West Coast rapper airs out his grievances with his label. Earl Sweatshirt’s long-awaited sophomore album, I Don’t Like Sh*t, I Don’t Go Outside, due out March 23, became available for pre-order via iTunes last night, which didn’t enthuse the rapper one bit.

When selecting a rapper to dub Mike Tyson’s rapper counterpart, Earl Sweatshirt is definitely not the first name that comes to mind. Nevertheless, the clever minds over at Citizens of Humanity decided to shake things up and allow the young Odd Future rapper to profile the legendary boxer for their latest issue.

Now this is an interesting combination. Chicago’s Lil Herb and Los Angeles’ Earl Sweatshirt team up for a track called “Knucklehead.” 

Leave your synthesizers at home, folks. Hands got dusty making “45,” the latest preview of Earl Sweatshirt’s upcoming sophomore album.
