R. Kelly released his latest studio album, Black Panties, today (December 10) and decided to take to Twitter earlier to open the communication lines a bit. After a tweet featuring an “#AskRKelly” hashtag, a barrage of hilarious slander came in the direction of the Chicago crooner via the social media network. Duck for cover, because this gets kinda ugly.
It all began innocently enough with fans of the veteran R&B artist asking the general questions, but it didn’t take long for Twitter users to unleash the verbal Kraken on Kells. After long-standing allegations of preying on underage girls, many of the jokes aimed at R. Kelly involved that particular angle.
There’s also the curious video that we shouldn’t have to mention here that got some joke burn too.
