PUMA has slowly but surely been garnering more and more attention from today’s generation thanks to their dealings with celebrities such as Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Big Sean, and The Weeknd, amongst others. The brand is looking to continue its growth with the release of some exclusives that honor Black History Month.
Just a year ago the cat brand honored Black Power fist wielding Olympic gold medalist Tommie Smith with some sweet PUMA suede and Sky II High joints.
This year PUMA is going to release some brown premium iterations of the classic PUMA Clyde on January 13 which are basketball inspired pieces that combine both wool and chenille fabric like your favorite high school letter jacket is made of.
But it doesn’t stop there, on February 2, PUMA will also introduce some new apparel and accessories to accompany the dark blue IGNITE evoKNIT which sports a gold premium knitted upper and ankle cut off.
Check out the flicks of the upcoming releases and let us know if you’ll be picking up either of the two or maybe even both.
