Sounds like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole didn’t want to be interrupted by thirsty groupies as they “connect politic ditto.” Cole had a birthday party in NYC earlier this week and K. Dot came through to kick it with the Roc Nation and Dreamville rapper.

After the smoke cleared on music’s biggest stage, Kendrick Lamar walked away with zero Grammy Awards after being nominated seven times. His competitors Macklemore & Ryan Lewis let it be known to all that it was a cold world as they walked away with four golden gramophones.
Although tonight has been a historic and genre-shifting night for Hip-Hop, there could only be one winner in the pantheon of independent-turned-top-40 rap stars.
